Joana started dancing
Lindy Hop in 1999, and Andréas in 2001. Between 2002-2007 they were
part of Shout'n Feel It, performing all kinds of swingdancing styles
in Europe and the US. Andreas is currently also part of the Swedish
National Lindy Hop team.
In january 2004 they attended their first Balboa workshop. Since
then, they have attended most of the bigger Balboa events in Europe,
taking classes and privates. In spring 2005 they started teaching
Balboa at Swedish Swing Society in Stockholm, and have since then
worked to develop the balboa scene in Stockholm. In 2005 they
organized the first Sweden Balboa Weekend in Stockholm, and have
continuosly been involved in the organization since then. To date
they have been teaching at international Balboa workshops in
Germany, Finland, Spain, Turkey, France and the US (Los Angeles).
Andreas and Joana
focus on musicality, control, leading and following. Their style is
energetic, elegant, classic yet innovative. They find inspiration in
clips as the beach clip, in all kinds of lead and follow dance and
in the best dancers of our time. Their passion for the dance makes
them aim for being part of modern day development of Balboa.
Andreas and Joana have a calm, systematic and playful way of
teaching, and they like to focus on the crucial details, both in
basics and more advanced steps.
Jason Herron and
Andrée-Anne Tremblay
instantly had a connection on the dance floor. It started with them
taking second place at the 2008 Eastern Balboa Championships in
their first ever competition together and continued with them taking
1st Place at the Twin Cities 2009 Strictly Balboa
Division, 1st Place at the Boston Tea Party 2009 Strictly
Balboa Division, 2nd Place at the 2009 International
Balboa Championships (Balboa Rendezvous) in San Diego and 3rd
Place in 2009 Canadian Swing Championships Strictly Balboa Division.
They have been invited to teach across Canada
and the United States.
Some of the workshops they have taught
at include the Balboa Rendezvous in San Diego, Sizzling Summer
Workshop, Balboa Explosion, Swing Explosion, Eastern Balboa
Championships, Montreal Smackdown and The Canadian Swing
Championships.
Together they organize the Canadian Balboa
Championships in Quebec.

The Russian balboa dancers
Sasha and Ivan were first fascinated
by balboa in 2004. Since then they have worked hard on discovering
the secrets of this magic dance and on creating a balboa scene in
Moscow.
Competitors, and hard workers by nature, they try to take part in
every competition they can go to. However considering social dancing
the most precious thing in the world. In their dancing, Sasha and
Ivan try to be creative and authentic at the same time. Their style
combine elegance and intimacy of purebal with jitterbug feeling of
balswing.

Swing (along with his partner Annie Trudeau) as well as co-organizer
of The Canadian Swing Championships and now the C-Series, Dee is one
crazy workaholic! With a life-long love of Jazz and blues, a
background in Hip Hop and a strong affection for partying, he took
to swing like a trumpet player to Miles Davis. His stage presence
and charisma earned him the nickname ''Charmin' Dee'' early on in
his swing career.
If Max was not a dancer, he
would probably be a boxer! Max demonstrates a tremendous versatility
being able to adapt to very slow or very fast tempo in couple, and
showing some incredible skills in solo dancing as well. Originally
from Montpellier France, he moved to Montreal in September 2006. The
art of swing dancing is how he makes his living, teaching at Studio
88-SWING in Montreal, performing for the
SAF Entertainment Group
and also
teaching and competing around the world . He is passionate about
sharing his understanding of all the details that create a good
connection between partners and give the most energy to the Lindy
Hop.
Max wins titles at every event he attends ...
He is also part of an internationally reknowned
Lindy Hop dance troup : The Ninjammerz. You can also visit the

To summarize, Max is a major influence in the
swing world and you will have the amazing chance to see him dancing
during of Festival.
This is now 5 years that Maeva and William are
dancing together. They are the current World Champions and European
Champions of Boogie-Woogie. Maeva and Wliliam are travelling around
the world to perform but also to teach in the most prestigious
international Workshop (Euro Dance Festival Germany, Rock that Swing
Festival Germany, Finland Boogie Night, Swing Rebel St Petersburg ).
They also teach in Paris in one of the most prestigious schools in
the capital Feeling Dance Studio. Maeva and William continue their
dance training but also to the theater because they are part of a
musical troop in Paris. This young couple is guided by the love of
dance and music. A special music listening, a spectacular and
innovative dance, are what characterize this unique couple.
