Auditions are mandatory for levels 2 to 6 and will be held on Saturday afternoon.
The workshop will start on Saturday 05th afternoon up to Tuesday 08th of May over 6 levels.
We have a complete beginner level available with a special price dedicated only for real beginner.
| Level 1 | You are a real beginner, you have never danced balboa, or taken just a few classes. |
| Level 2 | You know the basics of Balboa, but you still don't feel confident when social dancing. In addition to improve your basics, you want to learn the Balboa fundamentals (lollies, throwout, pure Balboa footwork ...), and to be able to dance with any partner. |
| Level 3 | You don't have anymore problem with your basics, you know the Balboa fundamentals, some footwork variations, and various Bal-Swing moves. You are comfortable social dancing with any partner. However, you still hesitate to dance on fast tempos, and have sometimes some connection problem. You also want to improve your style. |
| Level 4 | You are not afraid of fast tempos. You can social dance with partner of different levels (beginner to advanced) without any problem. Your interest is in trying to find your own style, as well as to start being musical, not only using the beat of the music, but every of its accents; You want to learn new footwork variations in pure Balboa, as well as new moves variations in Bal-Swing. |
| Level 5 | You can dance on slow, medium or fast tempos with the same fluency. You're playing with footwork variations, playing with the music and even start to create your own moves. You are looking for improving your style, and refining your musicality. |
| Level 6 | The Balboa is your dance. You have developed your own style, as well as incorporate to the dance your own footworks and variations. Your interest is in getting to know the style of the teachers so that you can further improve your own style, and get inspiration for your own creations. |
